- Does anyone know if Warp Engine's onboard SCSI termination is
- passive or active? I tried to find the answer from the manual
- but didn't...
-
- The reason for asking this is that I get more or less random
- read errors from my HD's and I was told that passive termination
- at Fast SCSI-II speeds is quite a common source for problems.
-
- Also, the item to blame might be my cable, at the moment the
- original one that was shipped with A3000 (I got one with WE
- but I have probably put it into a safe place ;-)
-
- Anyway, I'd like to know what kind of termination this card has,
- because one way to overtake it (if it's passive) would be to
- put the controller at the middle of SCSI chain (but that requires
- some arrangements due to my tower casing).
-
-
- Thanks in advance for information,
-
